Dig out and clean off your old vinyl collection! Played only 3 or 4 times (the internal body and tone arm are unworn) the Bush MTT1 mini turntable has received high ratings from hi-fi magazines for its quality and performance. Belt driven, it plays at two speeds: 33 1/3rpm and 45rpm for singles. The main benefit of the MTT1 is that it already has a phono amp stage built in, so all you need to do is connect the RCA plugs to your amplifier analog in sockets - and bingo! - you are all set to play vinyl (so much warmer and fuller sounding than CD's). The turntable is semi-automatic and the tone arm returns to its rest after playing a record. You can also make fine adjustments to the two speeds through the underside of the turntable by a small screwdriver. I have thrown in a 50Hz speed check mat to help you ensure the playback speed is spot on. The original user manual is also included - quite a rarity for this hard to find model. The only downside is cosmetic. The lid has several scratches as you can see in the fourth photo, but rest assured it does not in any way affect the performance or sound of the turntable. You can always play a record with the lid up (as I often do) or you can remove the lid altogether during playback. See the photos for both options. Get yourself a bargain at £30.
